Yes it is good news to the Indian international travellers. Home ministry of India announced that Indian’s travelling to abroad need not to fill departure cards. Currently these orders applicable only to the passengers travel by flight. Passengers travel to other countries either by trains or by ship still require to fill embarcation cards at land immigration check posts. Indian home ministry issued an orders, starting from July 01st 2017 in all international airports of India , international travellers need not fill departure cards. This decision from central ministry eases international travellers and to fly with out much hassle.
Currently, who ever travel to abroad they must have to fill their name, date of birth , passport number , address in India ,flight number and boarding date in departure card. Even in the related places same I formation has to fill by the travellers, with this home ministry decided to not to duplicate the data by filling it in departure card. With this , passenger can save their time home ministry added. To help the international travellers , ministry has took this decision. Since last year customs order that passengers with Indian passport travelling from abroad to India , if they don’t have any dutiable goods to declare , those passenger need not fill declaration card.
